Leitao’s West Village dining room accommodates large group reservations of 9 to 24 guests, with a private event space available for parties of 16 and above. Groups enjoy the same Portuguese menu, suckling pig, and wine program as the main dining room, in a setting suited to celebrations and corporate gatherings.

All reservations require a $500 deposit.
There is a minimum spend starting at $800 + tax & 20% service fee.

Unfortunately due to the intimate nature of Leitao we are unable to accommodate groups larger than 24 guests.

Due to the limitations of the seating at Leitao, groups of 9 to 15 guests will not have a private space.

Optional Suckling pigs need to be ordered 5 days in advance and costs $650. This will count towards the minimum spend amount.

One pig serves 4 to 6 people.

FAQ's

  1. Order directly from the menu, no need to finalize ahead of time however, order has to be placed at the same time.
  2. Food will be served family style, no individual plates.
  3. Dietary restrictions should be communicated at the time of booking.
Leitao does not have a dress code.
Leitao pig roast reservations can be made through our Leitao dinner reservation page here, or for larger groups, add them to your reservation here. Using that page will help us capture all the correct information for your reservation.
Leitao is unable to accommodate balloons or other decorations due to the intimate and limited space of our location.

Individual Reservations (Up to 8 Guests) No cancellation fee applies for reservations of up to 8 guests made through our Resy platform. We kindly request advance notice of any cancellations.

Group Reservations (9+ Guests) For parties of 9 or more, a deposit is required at the time of booking. This deposit is fully refundable when cancellations are made at least two weeks prior to the reservation date.

Making a reservation is HIGHLY recommended! All our seating, including bar seating, is available on Resy. We will do our best to accommodate walk-ins if seats are available. Groups of 9 to 24 must make reservations through our reservation form here.
Both our Sidewalk seating area and Roadway Patio have heaters. We do have fans for hot days. The Roadway seating is covered and protected from light rain. View our photos here.
To ensure the best in-person experience for all our guests, we have removed the phones from our restaurant to focus on making your dinner with us truly amazing. Instead of phone calls, we communicate through the contact us form. Rest assured, all form submissions are answered promptly.
Yes, outside cakes are welcome. A $25 cutting fee will be added to the table's bill. Reach out to us in advance if you need to drop the cake off early.
Leitao is a small restaurant we only have space for parties of up to 25 guest. Full restaurant buyouts are not an option. Reservations for groups of 2 to 8 can be made on Resy. Larger groups up to 25 will need to fill out the form on our Large Group Reservations page.

We reserve tables in 2-hour blocks. If you’re running late, we’re unable to extend your end time. For example, arriving 15 minutes late means you’ll have 1 hour and 45 minutes at your table. Don’t worry—we’ll expedite your order so you can still enjoy your meal. If you arrive more than 30 minutes late, we may not be able to seat you, as it could affect the next reservation.

Leitao is no longer accepting inKind payments in person or online.
We love pets! In line with NY health code regulations, pets are welcome on our patio, but unfortunately, they are not permitted indoors.
Leitao has one audio system for the entire location. This means we can't play specific music for your event or party.
We do not have any TV's or projectors available, they just don't match our vibe.
Nope. We have to respect our neighbors and can not have parties in our outdoor space. We limit also limit our sidewalk and roadway seating to groups of 4.
No. We are open for brunch on weekends but our menu is the same as our weekly dinner menu. View our menu here.

We are unable to change how we cook our dishes but we do have a little something on our menu that can work for most diets. Head to our menu page and select any allergies or dietary restrictions.
Leitao is a local spot that we want to keep open for everyone. Because of this we do not rent out the entire space for private events.
We offer a curated selection of Portuguese wines that pair perfectly with our food. However, if you wish to bring your own special bottle of wine, we allow a maximum of two bottles and charge a corkage fee of $50 per bottle. Simply let us know when you arrive. *magnum size bottles will not be accommodated
