Meet the Winemaker Dinners at Leitao
These exclusive gatherings will be hosted in Leitão’s intimate cellar space, allowing guests unparalleled access to the winemakers in a truly unique setting.
Chef Nuno Sousa will craft a bespoke menu for each event, thoughtfully designed to complement and enhance the distinctive flavors of the featured wines.
Tickets are non-refundable; however, if you provide at least two weeks’ notice before the event, we can reschedule your booking for a future date. In the case of a medical or other emergency less than two weeks before the event, we may offer a 50% refund in the form of an e-gift card that may be used to dine with us, evaluated on a case-by-case basis. In the event of a no-show, neither refunds, gift card nor rescheduling will be provided.

Andrea Tavares
Andrea Tavares, born in Lisbon, Portugal, is one of the three daughters of Alice and Paulo Tavares da Silva, the owners of Quinta de Chocapalha. Growing up between Lisbon and her father’s family farm in Alcochete, Andrea developed a deep appreciation for agriculture and the countryside. After graduating with a degree in finance and economics from Universidade Católica de Lisboa, she worked in finance before realizing her dream of joining the family business in 2011. At Quinta de Chocapalha, she initially focused on finance, control, and commercial aspects, eventually taking on overall management responsibilities alongside her sister Sandra, who is the chief winemaker. The family, including their father Paulo and mother Alice, actively contributes to the vineyard’s operations, which have a long history dating back to the 16th century. Under their stewardship, the estate has gained recognition for producing elegant wines that reflect the unique terroir of the Lisbon Wine Region, while maintaining a commitment to sustainable agriculture and exporting to over 25 countries.
Quinta de Chocapalha
Quinta de Chocapalha is a renowned Portuguese wine producer located in the Lisbon region, known for its commitment to quality and terroir driven wines. Established in 1875, the estate produces wines from both indigenous and international grape varieties, with a focus on whites made with Arinto and reds with Touriga Nacional. Their wines reflect the unique characteristics of the region’s climate and soil. They have garnered worldwide attention for their elegance, complexity, and ability to pair beautifully with various cuisines.
